You want to learn to drive a car and participate independently in traffic, which is why you want to get your driving license in the Netherlands in 2023. The most important part of traffic training in the total driving learning process is driving at intersections. Equivalent intersections, priority intersections, turning right, turning left, using entrance and exit construction, roundabouts and turbo roundabouts are all based on knowing, recognizing and planning the intersection. That is why we first need to know the basics well.

A traffic intersection is a place where two or more roads intersect or meet. It can be a place where two roads connect without a stop or traffic light, but it can also be a place where several roads intersect and where there are traffic lights or other traffic controllers to regulate the traffic. The purpose of an intersection is to allow traffic to move in a safe and efficient manner.
